TN-ROOF Terrace
The TN-ROOF Terrace system is designed with due account for pedestrian load requirements and is used for new construction on the roofs of modern, multifunctional complexes. The use of plastic pillars enables the laying of tiles with zero slope, reduces the weight of the roof structure, and prevents the formation of puddles on the surface of the roof.- High resistance to pedestrian loads
- Protection of the membrane roofing against mechanical damage
- A level-slope direction can be created on the roof
- Functional roof
Description
In the TN-ROOF Terrace system, reinforced pavement tiles are laid directly on special plastic supports, and the entire roof pie is held in place due to the weight of the ballast (pavement tiles).
The advantage of the design is better protection of the waterproofing cladding from mechanical damage and UV-radiation. All this leads to longer service life and reliability of the ballast roofing system.
To create a vapor barrier, it is recommended to lay Bipol EPP bitumen/polymeric material. The material is placed loosely, and seams are welded with hot air or open flame. For roofs with more than a 10% slope, we recommend continuous gluing of the vapor barrier. The role of a vapor barrier is to protect the thermal insulation from moisture penetrating from the inside space of the building.
This system has thermal insulation based on TechnoNICOL CARBON PROF 300 extrusion foam polystyrene, which can withstand higher loads that occur in the ballast system than alternatives.
The slope is made with TECHNONICOL CARBON PROF 250 SLOPE wedge-shaped plates. This solution contributes to faster laying of the system materials, the absence of "wet processes", and economic efficiency of the construction and installation works.
The system has advanced fireproof properties: K0 (30) and RE 30, according to the opinion of FSBI VNIIPO (Fire Safety Research Institute) of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Emergency Situations. The waterproofing layer is a LOGICROOF V-GR PVC membrane, reinforced with fiberglass, to increase the resistance of waterproofing to puncturing by the sharp edges of the ballast.
The use of TechnoNICOL polymeric membranes, supplied in rolls which have greater width and length (2.05 m x 25 m), makes it possible to install the roofing fast, while welding with special hot-air equipment ensures the high reliability and durability of welded joints.
Needle punched, heat-treated TECHNONICOL geotextile, weighing 300 g/m2 is used to protect waterproofing from damage; reinforced paving tiles are placed on top of the geotextile on special plastic supports. If it is necessary to create a zero slope on a roof which has a slope, then adjustable (screw) supports are used.
